The 4 Modules


Module 1: Calm

Use a range of techniques from the worlds of mindfulness, meditation and sophrology to help you feel relaxed, calm and able to keep anxiety levels under control.

Module 2: Focus

Learn how to improve your focus so you can ignore distraction in the exam hall and when revising in busy environments. Zoom in on the task at hand and work productively in the time you have.

Module 3: Confidence

The importance of going into your exam feeling ready and confident is paramount. Learn the science behind mind and body techniques that allow you to access this feeling whenever you need it.

Module 4: Energy

Understand how to maintain energy levels so you can keep feeling fresh and sharp from start to finish, throughout each exam, and for the duration of the exam season. This module also includes tips on how to improve your quality of sleep.

  • You can use them in a variety of ways:

    1. Watch the videos, learn the techniques and select those you’d like to teach. You can also use the slide deck if you’d like a visual aid.

    2. Use the videos as a resource in the classroom, a tutorial session or pastoral context. You can watch with the students and then guide them through the coaching questions at the end of each module.

    3. After teaching and practising the techniques, you can play the guided meditation to help your students embed the mind and body techniques.

    4. The worksheets are provided as an additional resource so students can take notes if they wish as you go along. They also provide space for reflection in answer to the coaching questions at the end of each module.

  • Each of the videos is no more than 10 minutes long.

  • This short course will be released on 1 May and is available for students taking exams this summer 2024, therefore you will be able to access all the course material until 31 July 2024.


  • Each module contains a short audio file with a guided meditation (3-5 mins long). These can be played in a small group setting after watching each module. They are intended to allow students to experience feeling of calm, focus, confidence and energy. It is recommended that you play these in calm, quiet environment where students will feel safe and be open to closing their eyes and relaxing!

  • No, the idea is that each module gives you / the students all the information you need. These are short and practical exercises and you would no doubt benefit from practising them yourself first so you understand what you are asking your students to do.

  • My aim with this short course is to help students for their exams this summer. If you’d like to share them with colleagues in your school, then that is fine but please bear in mind that this is my business and so I ask you not to share outside of your school setting. Thank you.
